Richard Rodgers

Rick has served on the Ardelyx board of directors since March 2014. From March 2010 until August 2013, Rick was co-founder, executive vice president, chief financial officer, secretary and treasurer of Tesaro, a biopharmaceutical company, which was acquired by GlaxoSmithKline plc in January 2019. He previously served as the chief financial officer of Abraxis BioScience, and as senior vice president, controller and chief accounting officer of MGI PHARMA.

Rick has held finance and accounting positions at several private and public companies, including Arthur Anderson & Co.

He also currently serves as a director of Novavax and Ocuphire Pharma.

Rick received a B.S. in Financial Accounting from St. Cloud State University and his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Business.
