Biopharmaceutical Partnerships
Kyowa Kirin Co. Ltd. (Japan) Strategic collaboration for the development and commercialization of tenapanor for cardiorenal diseases associated conditions, including hyperphosphatemia. Tenapanor is approved and marketed as PHOZEVEL® for the improvement of hyperphosphatemia in adult patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) on dialysis in Japan.
Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical Industrial Development Co. Ltd. (China) Exclusive license agreement for the development and commercialization of tenapanor for irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C) and hyperphosphatemia associated with CKD in China. Tenapanor is approved and marketed under the Chinese trade name Wan Ti Le for patients with CKD on hemodialysis with hyperphosphatemia in China.
